Marvel Studios' much-anticipated antihero ensemble film, Thunderbolts, will hit Indian theaters on May 1, a day ahead of its global release. The film will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Directed by Paper Towns filmmaker Jake Schreier, Thunderbolts brings together a team of antiheroes, including Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), and John Walker (Wyatt Russell). These misfits are thrown together on a dangerous mission orchestrated by the enigmatic Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).
According to the official synopsis, the group finds themselves trapped in a deadly scheme that forces them to confront their darkest pasts. As tensions rise, they must decide whether to turn against each other or unite for a chance at redemption.
The film also stars Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, and Wendell Pierce in key roles.
Thunderbolts is produced by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, with Louis D’Esposito, Brian Chapek, and Jason Tamez serving as executive producers. The film, inspired by the Marvel Comics team of villains-turned-antiheroes, is part of Marvel’s expanding cinematic universe.
With its star-studded cast and gripping storyline, Thunderbolts promises to be a thrilling addition to the MCU when it arrives in theaters next year.
