The BTS ARMY is in a frenzy after fresh rumors suggested that the world’s biggest K-pop group may perform in India as part of their 2026 comeback world tour. A leaked list of alleged destinations circulating online has sparked widespread excitement, hinting that Mumbai could feature among the 20 cities the band plans to visit next year. While BigHit Music has not confirmed the news, fans are already celebrating the possibility of BTS including India in their long-overdue global performance schedule.
According to reports, BTS is preparing for a group comeback in March 2026 following the completion of the members’ solo projects and mandatory military service. The new album release is expected to coincide with a 20-city world tour, covering major global destinations such as Seoul, Tokyo, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and potentially Mumbai. The rumor, fueled by posts allegedly linked to Live Nation Touring insiders, has sent social media into overdrive, with hashtags like #BTSinIndia and #MumbaiARMYsDream trending across platforms.
For Indian fans, the news feels particularly special. BTS had previously revealed that Mumbai was included in their now-cancelled Map of the Soul Tour in 2020, shelved due to the pandemic. Since then, Indian ARMYs have relentlessly campaigned online for the group’s live performance in India—organizing virtual events, trending hashtags, and even sending petitions to BTS’s label to spotlight the fandom’s growing strength in South Asia.

Adding credibility to the speculation, BTS’s management company HYBE Corporation recently established an international office in Mumbai, a move seen as part of its strategy to expand into the Indian entertainment market. While no official confirmation has been made, the combination of HYBE’s local presence and the viral tour leak has fans hopeful that 2026 might finally mark BTS’s historic first concert in India.
