Bollywood stalwarts Twinkle Khanna and Kajol, long-time friends with a sisterly bond, are stepping into hosting roles for the upcoming Prime Video Original series "Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle". Produced by Banijay Asia, the show promises candid, laughter-filled conversations with high-profile guests including Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Govinda, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan. It premieres on September 25 in India and over 240 territories worldwide, with new episodes releasing every Thursday.
At the trailer's launch on Monday, Khanna emphasised the show's unique blend of humour and depth. "We try to go a little bit deeper than other chat shows. I think that is our USP. We have fun. It's irreverent, but it's also not frivolous at all. "It's got some gravitas," she said. Kajol, marking her debut as a host, highlighted the relaxed environment that encourages authentic sharing. "There's a lot of laughter and fun, but what's nice about it is also the fact that our guests have spoken about their views and viewpoints in the nicest possible way, with the coolest questions," she added. The trailer featured snippets of lively exchanges, showcasing the hosts' playful dynamic.
When asked about standout guests, Kajol initially praised Salman and Aamir Khan before singling out Govinda as her favourite. "My favourite guest on the show was Govinda. He was so super entertaining. Not to say that everybody was not nice, but Govinda is Govinda. "He's an icon," she said. Khanna echoed the sentiment, noting the episode's infectious energy. The lineup draws from Bollywood's A-list, blending nostalgia with contemporary voices to appeal to a broad audience.

The hosts' off-screen rapport, described as familial rather than merely friendly, underpins the show's appeal. "We are not friends; we are like sisters. We bicker, we make fun of each other, but we trust each other. "We both have each other's back," Khanna explained. Kajol agreed, stressing mutual support: "We're literally building each other up, and that's wonderful to work with." Even veteran host Karan Johar faced their teasing, with Khanna joking, "We trouble him off camera and on camera, and he tries to wiggle his way out." As Bollywood's chat show landscape evolves, "Two Much" aims to carve a niche with its witty, substantive take on celebrity life.
