In a surprising turn of events, National Award-winning singer Rahul Deshpande has announced his separation from his wife, Neha, after 17 years of marriage. The couple, who finalised their legal separation in September 2024, shared the news via a heartfelt Instagram post by Rahul on Tuesday.
In his emotional note, Rahul expressed gratitude for the shared memories and emphasised that the decision was mutual. "After 17 years of marriage and countless cherished moments, Neha and I have chosen to part ways amicably and live independently," he wrote. The 45-year-old singer, celebrated for his soulful tracks like "Dil Ki Tapish" and "Ha Rang Chadhu De", assured fans that their daughter, Renuka, remains their top priority. "We are committed to co-parenting Renuka with love, care, and stability," he added.
