Aditya Dhar's high-octane espionage thriller Dhurandhar, featuring Ranveer Singh in the intense role of undercover Indian operative Hamza infiltrating Karachi's criminal and terror networks, has amassed an extraordinary worldwide gross of ₹1222 crore by its 33rd day in theatres, cementing its status as one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema history despite facing restrictions that prevented release in key Middle Eastern markets.
Domestically, the film has collected an impressive ₹781.75 crore net (equivalent to ₹938 crore gross) as reported through Tuesday, with daily earnings now settling into the sub-₹5 crore range after completing five dominant weeks, yet continuing to draw substantial audiences and outperforming several newer releases in sustained occupancy across multiplexes and single screens.
With this momentum, Dhurandhar stands merely ₹8 crore away from eclipsing the lifetime worldwide collection of SS Rajamouli's 2022 epic RRR at ₹1230 crore, a milestone industry trackers predict it will achieve or surpass by the close of Wednesday, potentially elevating it to the fourth position among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.

The film's overseas performance has been particularly phenomenal, reaching $31.5 million in total despite the Middle East blackout, propelled by an unprecedented North American haul of $20 million that has already overtaken the regional records set by RRR ($15.3 million), Jawan ($15.6 million), and Kalki 2898 AD ($18 million), now trailing only Baahubali 2's $20.7 million benchmark for Indian films in the US and Canada.
Bolstered by a stellar supporting cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan, the adrenaline-fueled spy narrative has resonated strongly with global audiences, generating immense anticipation for the confirmed sequel, Dhurandhar Part 2, slated for theatrical release in March 2026.
