Actor and Model Malaika Arora has candidly spoken about the emotional and social challenges she faced following her divorce from actor-producer Arbaaz Khan. The couple, who married in 1998 and divorced in 2016, share a 22-year-old son, Arhaan. In a recent interaction with India Today, Malaika revealed that her decision to separate was met with significant judgment, not only from the public but also from her close circle. She said that every step she took was closely scrutinized, leaving her constantly questioned about her personal and professional decisions during that phase of her life.
The actress also highlighted the stark double standards faced by women when it comes to marriage and separation.
