Musician and counselor Keneeshaa Francis has announced that she is stepping away from social media and distancing herself from actor Ravi Mohan amid intense public scrutiny and online trolling surrounding their relationship. In a lengthy emotional statement shared on Instagram on Friday, Keneeshaa said she was “releasing” Ravi Mohan “with peace, with love, and with complete detachment,” while expressing disappointment over what she described as constant judgment, manufactured narratives, and personal attacks directed at her online.
In the statement, Keneeshaa Francis said she had entered the situation with genuine affection and good intentions but now felt emotionally exhausted by the controversy surrounding her personal life. She wrote that she had tried to protect “a human being the world had already decided a story for" but had come to realize that kindness and softness rarely survive in an environment dominated by spectacle and chaos. Referring to the criticism she has faced, Keneeshaa said she no longer wished to continue defending herself publicly or fighting battles she believed were never hers to carry.
The social media post also included sharp remarks about the nature of public discourse and online culture. Keneeshaa stated that she had lost faith in the environment surrounding celebrity culture and public commentary, saying the space now seemed suited only for “liars, cheaters, manipulators, and life extorters.” She further claimed that society had become more accepting of destructive narratives than genuine emotional support or loyalty. According to her statement, she has now decided to withdraw completely from the controversy and detach herself emotionally from Ravi Mohan and the attention surrounding their association.

Keneeshaa additionally revealed that she had left Chennai and was considering stepping away from her music career and counseling work due to the emotional impact of the online harassment. She alleged that she had been subjected to bullying, manipulation, and invasive scrutiny on social media, including people attempting to investigate details about her past personal life. In her concluding remarks, she announced that she would be logging off from Instagram and other social media platforms indefinitely while requesting privacy from friends, family members, and supporters during this period.
Her latest statement came shortly after she uploaded and later deleted videos addressing allegations related to her connection with Ravi Mohan. In those videos, she denied accusations that she had been responsible for breaking a family and clarified that Ravi had initially approached her seeking emotional support. She also opened up about difficult personal experiences from her past, including a failed early marriage and the loss of a child during pregnancy. Keneeshaa said those experiences made it painful for her to face allegations that she would intentionally separate someone from their family or children.
