Tucked between Mumbai and Pune lies Jackie Shroff’s sprawling 44,000 sq ft farmhouse — a rustic, eco-luxury haven dubbed the “greenest” by choreographer Farah Khan during her viral Fun With Farah Khan tour. Joined by her chef sidekick Dilip, the trio explored a self-sustained paradise brimming with 700 plants, a man-made lake, and even a Titanic-inspired viewing deck.
The retreat is a living tribute to nature and heritage. Among the lush greenery stands a 12-year-old Kadamba tree planted by Jackie in memory of his mother — revered in Hindu mythology as the tree under which Radha and Krishna are said to have met. “This is my mother’s tree,” he shared, guiding Farah through rose bushes, giloy vines, and mulberry shrubs. The actor, known for gifting plants, confirmed: “I bring one for everyone.”
Beyond the flora, the farmhouse boasts an open-air amphitheatre and a jaw-dropping ‘Titanic Spot’ — an iron-clad platform offering panoramic views of rolling farms. Farah, mesmerized, asked if filming was permitted. Jackie grinned: “Tumhare liye sab allowed hai (Everything is allowed for you).” A swimming pool with jacuzzi sits nearby, where Jackie was found lounging under cloudy skies.

The simplicity extends to the kitchen, where Jackie whipped up amaranth saag, baigan bharta, fermented rice kanji, and fresh rotis — all made from farm-fresh ingredients. Chickens and ducks roam freely, fish swim in the lake, and every corner radiates a labour of love.
More than a celebrity retreat, Jackie Shroff’s farmhouse is a sanctuary of sustainability — proof that luxury can coexist with nature, minimalism, and deep-rooted tradition.
