Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has announced a new collaboration with streaming giant Prime Video for an upcoming comedy film titled Mess. The project will be produced under his production banner, HRX Films, alongside his brother, Eshaan Roshan.
According to a press release, Hrithik Roshan described the collaboration as a continuation of his work with Prime Video. "Storm marked the start of something special with Prime Video, and Mess feels like a natural next step for us at HRX Films," he said. Roshan emphasized that the partnership with the platform has allowed the team to explore bold and innovative storytelling.
The film is set to follow a group of robbers who break into the home of a man with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). What begins as a routine heist soon turns into a chaotic night as the intruders discover that the house—and its occupant—are far more complicated than they anticipated. The premise combines dark humor with suspenseful elements, promising a unique comedic experience.

The screenplay for Mess was originally written by American writer Paul Soter, with the adapted screenplay and dialogues handled by Kapil Sawant. According to Hrithik, the film’s director and producer, Rajesh [surname not specified], brings "a distinctive voice" to the project, skillfully blending comedy with compelling narratives.
While production details are still emerging, more information regarding the film’s cast and release timeline is expected to be shared in the coming months. Industry observers note that this marks a growing trend of Bollywood actors producing content directly for streaming platforms, expanding the reach and creative possibilities of Indian cinema.
With a mix of established talent and international writing influence, Mess aims to combine suspense, humor, and innovative storytelling, reflecting HRX Films’ ongoing commitment to exploring fresh narratives for audiences worldwide.
