Directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, the film shattered records for opening days, weekends, weekdays, and global collections, setting new benchmarks for Hindi cinema.
The film opened with Rs 28 crore nett on its first Friday in India, marking Ranveer Singh’s biggest opening day ever. By the first Sunday, Dhurandhar collected Rs 44.80 crore, surpassing Padmaavat to become his highest single-day grosser and recording the second-highest first Sunday of 2025 after Chhaava.
Dhurandhar’s weekday performance was equally impressive. On its first Tuesday, the film collected Rs 28.60 crore, making it the highest first Tuesday grosser of the year. By the end of its first week, domestic collections crossed Rs 207 crore, highlighting the film’s remarkable consistency beyond the weekend surge.

The second weekend further cemented Dhurandhar’s record-breaking run, with Rs 59 crore on Sunday alone, making it the highest second Sunday ever in Hindi cinema. The film amassed Rs 140–146 crore over the second weekend, surpassing Pushpa 2 to become the biggest second-weekend grosser in Indian cinema history.
On the global stage, Dhurandhar proved unstoppable, crossing Rs 1,100 crore worldwide in 24 days and eventually reaching Rs 1,240 crore, overtaking KGF: Chapter 2 and Pathaan to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. The film also ranked among the top five most-watched films at the US box office.
With domestic earnings of Rs 820.30 crore by its fifth weekend and week-wise collections reflecting remarkable consistency, Dhurandhar has redefined what sustained box office success looks like in Hindi cinema. Starring an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Sara Arjun, the film continues to dominate theaters worldwide, solidifying its status as a career-defining blockbuster.
