Actress Sara Arjun, who portrayed Yalina Jamali in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, penned a heartfelt note appreciating the director’s guidance and composure during the film’s production. She credited Dhar for creating a safe and supportive environment on set, allowing her to perform confidently alongside seasoned actors like Ranveer Singh.
In her tribute, Sara wrote, “To the real Dhurandhar with a golden heart and the courage to trust. Dearest Aditya sir, you indeed are invincible, untouchable, and the GOAT of them all! One of the most important things I've learned from Dhurandhar is your presence.” She highlighted Dhar’s humility, wisdom, and exemplary leadership as qualities that left a lasting impression on her.
Sara further lauded Dhar’s calm approach, stating, “The way you led all of us—with patience, with composure, without ever raising your voice or losing your calm—reflected on screen. You were the strength that held us together. You are not the silence before the storm; you are the silence that caused it.” Her note emphasizes how his mentorship influenced her both professionally and personally.

At the trailer launch, Sara described working on Dhurandhar as a dream come true, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with some of India’s most versatile actors. Producer Jyoti Deshpande also praised her performance, calling her “one of the Dhurandhars in the film” for her impactful presence on screen.
Director Aditya Dhar revealed the rigorous selection process behind casting Sara, noting that nearly 1,300 auditions were conducted before she was chosen for the role. He described her as “brilliant and simply the best,” emphasizing her talent and potential to become a leading star. Dhurandhar released on December 5 to strong audience reception.
