Abhishek Bachchan has addressed the persistent rumours surrounding his marriage to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, revealing that their 14-year-old daughter, Aaradhya, remains blissfully unaware of the speculation due to her limited exposure to social media. In a candid interview with Peeping Moon, the actor emphasised that Aaradhya does not yet own a personal phone, shielding her from the online chatter that has plagued the couple for over a year.

The divorce buzz gained traction in 2024 when Abhishek, Aishwarya, and Aaradhya arrived separately at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding, with the Bachchan family posing together while Aishwarya and Aaradhya joined later. Further fuel was added by Aishwarya's birthday post for Aaradhya, which notably excluded Abhishek and other family members, prompting widespread speculation about underlying tensions. Despite joint appearances at events like Aaradhya's school functions, the rumoursemphasisedrumours have refused to die down, often amplified by social media and tabloid reports.

Abhishek elaborated that while Aaradhya has access to the internet for schoolwork, her priorities lie elsewhere. "She's more interested in doing her homework; she loves school. I don’t think she would search our names on Google," he shared, highlighting the family's efforts to maintain normalcy amid public scrutiny. This comes shortly after Aishwarya herself clarified that Aaradhya has no official social media accounts, reinforcing their protective stance toward their daughter's online presence.
