Vietnamese automaker Vinfast is poised to make a significant impact in India with its upcoming manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, marking its first production hub outside Vietnam. Alongside plans to launch two five-seater electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7, the company has now patented the design of a third model, the Vinfast Limo Green, a seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) tailored for fleet buyers and commercial use. This strategic move positions Vinfast to capture a broader segment of India’s burgeoning electric vehicle (EV) market.
The Vinfast Limo Green, listed as a “Service Vehicle” on the company’s official website, adopts the same sleek design language as the VF6 and VF7. Its minimalist front fascia features full-width daytime running lights (DRLs) that converge into a distinctive ‘V’ shape, accentuating the brand’s logo, paired with vertically oriented headlights.
The vehicle’s SUV-inspired silhouette is enhanced by side cladding, lending it a robust yet modern aesthetic. Measuring 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, 1,728 mm in height, and with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm, the Limo Green is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels and a ground clearance of 170 mm, ensuring versatility across various terrains. The vehicle is fitted with disc brakes on all four wheels for enhanced safety.
Inside, the Limo Green offers a premium cabin experience with a 10.1-inch infotainment display, a streamlined dashboard, and a three-spoke steering wheel. Key features include leatherette seating, a 360-degree camera, a floating center console, chrome accents, and seating for up to seven passengers across three rows. These elements combine to create a spacious and sophisticated interior, ideal for commercial fleet operations.

Powering the Limo Green is a 60.13 kWh battery, delivering an estimated range of 450 km per charge under NEDC standards. The front-wheel-drive setup is driven by a single electric motor producing 201 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. Drivers can choose from three modes—Eco, Comfort, and Sport—allowing for a customizable driving experience tailored to efficiency or performance needs.
The patent filing of the Limo Green underscores Vinfast’s ambition to establish a strong foothold in India’s EV market. By offering a seven-seater alongside its five-seater SUVs, the automaker aims to cater to diverse consumer needs, particularly in the commercial sector. As Vinfast prepares to commence operations in India, the Limo Green could redefine expectations for electric fleet vehicles, combining practicality, premium features, and eco-friendly performance.
