Tata Motors has released the first official teaser of its highly anticipated Punch facelift, offering a glimpse at the design updates before its official debut on January 13. The video highlights several styling enhancements that distinguish the facelifted model from its predecessor.
At the front, the Punch facelift features polygonal headlamp units and sleek DRLs, complemented by piano black elements. The refreshed front bumper adds a sharper appeal, aligning the small SUV with Tata’s latest design language seen in models like the Harrier and Safari.
The silhouette largely retains the original Punch shape, but the facelift introduces new alloy wheels and a redesigned rear end. The taillights now feature a full-width light strip, while the tail lamp design echoes styling cues from Tata’s premium SUVs. The model will also be offered in a new vibrant blue color.
While Tata Motors has not yet released interior images, the Punch facelift is expected to bring several cabin upgrades. Anticipated changes include a new dashboard layout with an infotainment screen borrowed from the Altroz and a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, alongside an expanded list of features.
The facelift is expected to retain the current 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 88 hp and 115 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT. A CNG variant will also be available, offering 73.5 hp and 103 Nm of torque, catering to customers seeking fuel-efficient options.
With its updated exterior design, refreshed features, and multiple powertrain options, the Tata Punch facelift aims to strengthen the brand’s presence in the compact SUV segment, appealing to urban buyers looking for style, practicality, and efficiency.
