Skoda is set to launch the facelifted Slavia in India on October 6, 2026, with refreshed exterior styling, additional features and changes to its automatic gearbox options. The updated sedan continues with the MQB A0 IN platform and retains the engine range, 521-litre boot and driving-focused character of the existing model. The facelift primarily focuses on improving technology, comfort and everyday usability.
The Slavia receives a revised butterfly grille, updated chrome detailing, sharper LED headlamps with new daytime-running-light signatures and redesigned bumpers. New 16-inch alloy wheels add to the visual changes, while the rear gets revised LED tail-lamp elements and sequential turn indicators. A new trim piece with prominent Skoda lettering has also been added, along with two new exterior colours — Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige.
Inside, the overall dashboard layout remains familiar, but the facelift introduces updated displays and connectivity features. Depending on the variant, buyers can get a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital driver display, along with powered and ventilated front seats, a sunroof, wireless smartphone connectivity, ambient lighting and cruise control. The sedan continues to offer generous rear-seat space and a 521-litre boot.

One of the notable additions is a rear-seat massage function, positioned as a segment-first feature, along with a 360-degree camera. The air-conditioning system has also been upgraded with a variable-geometry compressor for improved cooling. Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control and hill-hold assist, although the Slavia continues without an electronic parking brake and advanced driver assistance systems.
The engine lineup continues with two turbo-petrol options. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI produces 115hp and 178Nm, while the 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI develops 150hp and 250Nm. The major mechanical update is the addition of an eight-speed torque-converter automatic for the 1.0 TSI, replacing the earlier six-speed automatic, while a manual option remains available. The 1.5 TSI is now paired exclusively with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, with its previous manual variant discontinued.
The outgoing Slavia was priced at around Rs 10 lakh to Rs 18.20 lakh, ex-showroom. The facelift is expected to carry a modest price increase, with estimates placing the range at approximately Rs 10.25 lakh to Rs 18.75 lakh. Final prices and variant-wise equipment are expected to be confirmed when Skoda officially launches the updated sedan in India.
