Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the all-electric version of its C-Class sedan, marking a major step in the brand’s transition toward electrification of its core luxury lineup. The new model combines long-range capability, high performance, and advanced digital features, positioning itself as a strong contender in the premium electric sedan segment.
The electric C-Class is built on a dedicated EV platform shared with the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLC electric model. It is powered by a 94 kWh battery pack paired with an 800-volt architecture, enabling a claimed WLTP range of up to 762 km. A rear-wheel-drive variant is also expected to push the range closer to 800 km in future iterations, further strengthening its long-distance usability.
In terms of charging capability, the sedan supports ultra-fast DC charging of up to 330 kW, allowing it to regain approximately 325 km of range in just 10 minutes under optimal conditions. This places it among the fastest-charging electric sedans currently announced, reflecting the company’s focus on reducing downtime and improving real-world convenience for EV users.

Performance figures are equally impressive, with the dual-motor setup producing around 470 bhp. This allows the electric C-Class to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 4 seconds, offering sports car-like acceleration while maintaining the comfort and refinement expected from a luxury sedan.
Design-wise, the vehicle adopts a futuristic and aerodynamic profile with a coupe-like silhouette and fastback rear styling. The exterior features an illuminated front grille, sleek LED headlamps, and signature star-themed tail lamps, aligning it visually with newer models such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and EQS lineup, reinforcing the brand’s evolving electric identity.
Inside, the cabin is dominated by a 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen running on the latest MB.OS software, offering AI-powered voice assistance, over-the-air updates, and intelligent navigation. Additional features include ambient lighting, massage seats, multi-zone climate control, a 4D surround sound system, and advanced air suspension. The model is expected to launch first in select international markets, with a potential rollout in India in the following year depending on infrastructure readiness.
