Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has unveiled the limited-edition KTM 890 Adventure R Rally, a hardcore off-road machine inspired by its Dakar-winning rally bikes. The new model sits at the top of KTM’s mid-capacity adventure lineup and is designed for riders seeking near race-spec performance straight from the factory.
The 2026 edition retains its 889cc parallel-twin engine, producing around 106 PS and 100 Nm of torque, ensuring strong performance across demanding terrains. Built with a clear rally focus, the motorcycle integrates advanced electronics such as off-road ABS, multiple ride modes including Rally Mode, traction control, and motor slip regulation, all adjustable via a five-inch TFT display with navigation support.
A standout feature of the Rally edition is its premium WP XPLOR PRO suspension setup, offering 270 mm of travel—significantly enhancing off-road capability compared to the standard model. This setup, derived from KTM’s factory racing program, is engineered to handle extreme terrains while maintaining stability and control at high speeds.

The limited-edition motorcycle also comes equipped with high-end hardware, including an Akrapovič slip-on exhaust, carbon tank guards, rally seat, factory racing footpegs, and heavy-duty wheels. These components not only improve durability but also reinforce the bike’s rally-ready credentials, making it suitable for both competitive off-road riding and long-distance adventure touring.
Visually, the 890 Adventure R Rally features a striking Red Bull KTM Factory Racing-inspired livery, underlining its motorsport DNA. KTM says the design and engineering draw heavily from its Dakar Rally experience, positioning the bike as one of the most off-road-focused production adventure motorcycles currently available.
With limited global availability, the new model is aimed at enthusiasts looking for exclusivity and top-tier performance. The unveiling highlights KTM’s continued emphasis on rally-bred technology and its strategy to deliver competition-grade capability in production motorcycles.
