Bajaj Auto has officially launched the new Chetak C25 electric scooter in India at a starting price of Rs 91,399 (ex-showroom). Positioned as a stylish and compact EV option, the C25 carries forward the neo-retro design philosophy of its predecessor while introducing subtle design upgrades.
The scooter retains its signature horseshoe-shaped LED headlamp and minimalist apron, complemented by sleek side panels with refreshed graphics. At the rear, a new taillight enhances its contemporary appeal. Remarkably, the Chetak C25 is the only electric scooter in India to feature a metallic body, offering durability alongside style.
In terms of convenience, the C25 provides 25 liters of boot space and a 650 mm full-length seat for comfortable rides. Buyers can choose from six vibrant colors: Racing Red, Misty Yellow, Ocean Teal, Active Black, Opalescent Silver, and Classic White, catering to a wide range of aesthetic preferences.

The scooter comes equipped with a color LCD display and advanced smart features such as smartphone connectivity, call and SMS notifications, turn-by-turn navigation, and music controls. Additionally, it offers Hill Hold Assist, enabling it to tackle slopes with up to a 19% gradient even with two riders onboard.
Under the hood, the Chetak C25 is powered by a 2.5 kWh floorboard-mounted battery driving a 2.2 kW hub-mounted motor, delivering a claimed range of 113 km on a single charge. The battery can charge from 0 to 80% in just 2 hours 25 minutes, while the 750W off-board charger can take it to 100% in under 4 hours.
The scooter’s ride quality is enhanced by telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers, ensuring a smooth and stable driving experience. With its blend of design, performance, and smart features, the Chetak C25 positions itself as a compelling choice for urban commuters seeking an eco-friendly yet stylish ride.
