Vivo is set to launch the X300 Series in India in early December 2025, with both the X300 and X300 Pro supporting Zeiss Telephoto Extender Kits—a first for the global market. The smartphones, already released in China, have appeared on BIS certification, signaling an imminent Indian debut with near-identical specs and enhanced camera capabilities via external 2.35x teleconverter lenses.
The X300 Pro boasts a 200MP periscope telephoto with 8.8x optical zoom (200mm focal length) when paired with the extender, while the X300 achieves 7x zoom (165mm). Both models feature NFC-enabled instant lens detection and a dedicated Teleconverter Mode in the camera app. Powered by V3+ and Vs1 imaging chips, the Pro model includes a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor and 50MP ultra-wide, while the standard version uses a 200MP Samsung HPB primary and 50MP Sony LYT-602 telephoto.
Under the hood, both run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, Android 16-based OriginOS 6, and offer 50MP selfie cameras. The Pro packs a 6,510mAh battery with 90W wired + 40W wireless charging, while the base model has a 6,040mAh cell. Minor tweaks like battery size may appear in the Indian variants.

India will be among the first global markets to receive the Zeiss Telephoto Extender Kit, according to tipster Yogesh Brar. This modular lens system enhances optical zoom without digital cropping, delivering lossless long-range photography—ideal for wildlife, sports, and portrait shooters.
With launch expected in the first week of December, Vivo is positioning the X300 Series as a photography powerhouse for the premium segment. Official pricing and pre-order details are yet to be announced, but the inclusion of Zeiss extender support gives India a cutting-edge advantage in mobile imaging.
