Vivo has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Vivo Y600 Turbo, in China, introducing a device focused heavily on battery endurance and gaming-oriented performance. The smartphone’s biggest highlight is its massive 9,000mAh battery, positioning it among the largest battery-equipped mainstream smartphones currently available in the segment.
The Vivo Y600 Turbo is aimed at users seeking extended usage without frequent charging, particularly mobile gamers and multimedia consumers. Supporting the large battery is 90W wired fast charging, which the company says enables quicker power recovery despite the oversized cell capacity. The smartphone also features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits for improved visibility in bright environments.
The display carries SGS Low Blue Light and TÜV Rheinland Flicker-Free certifications, indicating a focus on eye comfort during prolonged use. Vivo has also equipped the device with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, adding durability features typically seen in higher-end smartphones. The handset measures 8.3mm in thickness and weighs 215 grams, balancing a relatively slim profile despite the oversized battery.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y600 Turbo runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The dual-SIM smartphone operates on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. The company is positioning the device as a capable performer for gaming and multitasking, supported by smooth visuals and long-lasting battery life.
For photography, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the device houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera for video calls and casual photography. Additional features include 5G connectivity, NFC support, Wi-Fi, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Vivo has launched the Y600 Turbo in three colour options — Dune Gold, Electric Blue, and Millennium Pink. Pricing in China starts at CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs 32,000) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 12GB + 256GB model is priced at CNY 2,599 (around Rs 36,000), while the top-end 12GB + 512GB version costs CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs 40,000).
