Amazon has introduced two new artificial intelligence devices under its Bee brand, the Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse, designed to help users remember conversations, organise tasks and manage everyday commitments. Announced on October 15, 2026, the devices expand Amazon’s personal AI offerings following its acquisition of Bee in 2025. Both products can turn conversations into summaries, reminders and actionable notes, allowing users to keep track of important details from meetings, phone calls and informal discussions.
The Bee Frontier is a wearable AI device that can be worn on the wrist using a silicone band or clipped onto clothing. It features dual microphones with noise-filtering technology to capture relevant conversations in different environments. The device offers up to seven days of battery life, IP67-rated dust and water resistance, and USB-C charging. Available in Onyx, Lavender and Sage, the Frontier is priced at $74.99 in the United States and is designed for people who want an AI assistant that can accompany them throughout the day.
The Bee Eclipse offers an alternative for users who prefer not to wear an additional device. Designed as a slim attachment approximately the size of a credit card, it connects magnetically to the back of a compatible smartphone. The device performs similar functions to the Frontier, generating conversation summaries, insights and to-do lists. Amazon says the Eclipse offers more than 21 days of battery life on a single charge. It is priced at $99.99 and is expected to become available soon, although a specific release date has not been announced.

Both devices can connect with applications and services such as Gmail, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook to help users manage their schedules and follow-up tasks. Depending on the connected services and available features, the AI can identify action items from conversations, draft follow-up emails and prepare calendar invitations. Amazon has also announced integrations with Alexa+ and its shopping platform, allowing users to retrieve summaries through compatible Alexa devices and receive personalised shopping recommendations based on items mentioned in conversations.
Privacy is a key consideration for the new devices because they process audio from users’ everyday interactions. Amazon says audio is processed in real time and is not retained as a recording, while visible indicator lights and physical microphone controls allow users to manage when listening is active. The company also says participants must be prompted for permission when a recording is initiated during calls. Users should nevertheless review applicable consent requirements and privacy settings before using such devices around other people.
Amazon has also introduced a Bee Pro subscription costing $11.99 per month, offering expanded features such as unlimited recent conversation summaries, daily memories, additional AI assistance and deeper integrations. Users on the free tier receive conversation summaries and access to 14 days of memory. With the Frontier and Eclipse, Amazon is expanding its efforts to integrate AI into everyday activities, positioning the devices as tools for productivity, personal organisation and hands-free access to information.
