Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday personally met citizens from across the state during the 'Janata Darshan' programme, hearing grievances and taking immediate action on issues ranging from land disputes to assaults. The CM reiterated that illegal encroachments and unlawful land grabs will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
During the public outreach initiative, petitioners submitted applications detailing instances of land encroachment and harassment by strongmen. CM Yogi personally reviewed the complaints and instructed officials to take prompt and effective action to address each case, ensuring accountability at all levels.
The Chief Minister emphasised that the government’s ongoing campaign against the land mafia and influential strongmen will continue unabated. He directed authorities at district, division, range, and zone levels to implement strict measures on a regular basis to curb illegal activities and protect public property.

Yogi Adityanath also highlighted the administration’s zero-tolerance approach toward law and order violations, stressing that negligence by officials in addressing such matters will not be accepted. He called for swift resolution of revenue and legal cases, particularly those involving illegal land possession.
Following these interactions, the CM instructed administrative and police authorities to expedite hearings and ensure fair outcomes for affected citizens. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to safeguarding citizens’ rights while maintaining strict control over unlawful practices.
Officials have been tasked with regularly monitoring and reporting actions taken against encroachers, with the Chief Minister asserting that persistent enforcement is key to curbing the influence of land mafias and strongmen throughout Uttar Pradesh.
