The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced the results of the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025, which serves as the qualifying examination for Group B and Group C posts in the state. The exam was conducted on September 6 and 7, with a large number of candidates appearing across various districts. Aspirants can now check and download their scorecards from the official website, upsssc.gov.in, using their registered credentials.
The PET is a mandatory gateway for several state-level recruitments, and candidates who clear the exam will receive a PET certificate that remains valid for three years. This certificate will be required during subsequent stages of recruitment, including post-specific main examinations and document verification. By issuing the results and activating the login portal, UPSSSC has enabled candidates to promptly access their marks and begin preparing for the next phase.
To check the PET results, candidates must visit the official UPSSSC website and click on the designated result link displayed on the homepage. They will be asked to log in using their registration number, date of birth, gender (if prompted), and a captcha code. Once the credentials are submitted, the PET scorecard becomes available for viewing and downloading. The commission advises candidates to keep multiple printouts for future reference, as the scorecard will play a key role in upcoming recruitment processes.

UPSSSC has also highlighted the essential details candidates must verify on their scorecards. These include the candidate’s full name, registration or application number, social category, gender, date of birth, marks obtained, and the normalised score. Cross-checking these particulars is crucial to avoid any discrepancies during document verification rounds, which often follow the release of recruitment notifications. Any errors should be reported promptly through official channels.
Candidates who qualify in the PET become eligible to apply for various Group B and C posts, such as Junior Assistant, Village Development Officer (VDO), Secretariat Clerk, and other departmental roles. PET scores are used as the primary shortlisting tool for these upcoming recruitment drives. With multiple departments expected to release vacancies over the next few months, qualifying candidates are encouraged to remain vigilant regarding new notifications.
Looking ahead, the commission advises candidates to begin preparing for the main examinations associated with each post, as competition is expected to be high. Aspirants should also keep their academic certificates, identification documents, and PET scorecards organised for smooth participation in the next stages. Regularly checking the UPSSSC website and staying updated with official announcements will help candidates navigate the upcoming recruitment cycle efficiently.
