RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the ruling NDA coalition in Bihar, alleging that the November 2025 assembly elections were manipulated through a “conspiracy” involving money power and government machinery. Returning to Patna after a Europe tour, he declared that the people of Bihar, not his party, suffered defeat as democracy was transformed into “dhan tantra” (rule of money) and “machine tantra” (rule of machinery).
Yadav claimed the NDA victory was secured through deceit rather than genuine public support. He asserted that the Mahagathbandhan, led by RJD, had been systematically undermined by unfair means, robbing the electorate of a fair contest. The former Deputy Chief Minister described the outcome as a loss for the people and a win for the system.
In a strategic move, Tejashwi announced he would refrain from criticising the Nitish Kumar-led government’s decisions and policies for the next 100 days. He stated that this period would serve as an observation phase to evaluate whether the NDA honours its major election promises made to the voters.

The RJD leader specifically highlighted key poll commitments, including the distribution of ₹2 lakh to mothers and sisters, employment for one crore youth, and the establishment of four to five factories in each district. He questioned when these assurances would be fulfilled, positioning the 100-day deadline as a litmus test for the government’s sincerity and performance.
Tejashwi emphasised that his party practices “positive politics” and would wait patiently before drawing conclusions. He indicated that after the 100-day period, he would publicly expose any shortcomings or failures of the NDA administration, setting the stage for intensified political confrontation in Bihar.
