Investment opportunities across sectors like Artificial Intelligence, agri-tech, quantum computing, and healthcare were highlighted at the second edition of the Invest India Business Forum held in Seattle on Saturday. The event, hosted by the Indian Consulate in partnership with Montana World Affairs Council and technology firm ZOHO, aimed to strengthen economic ties between India and the US Pacific Northwest.
Several CEOs and senior executives from Microsoft, Amazon, Salesforce, T-Mobile, and other multinational firms attended, alongside local dignitaries. Experts presented detailed insights on India’s rapidly growing sectors, emphasizing the country’s readiness for foreign investments and its technological and industrial advancements.
The forum also showcased India’s premium export-ready products, including the famed ‘Bhagwa’ pomegranates from Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka, known for their deep red hue, rich flavor, and high nutritional value. Other products on display included Araku coffee, India’s finest wines, hand-crafted spirits, and cultural heritage items under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative.

From January 28 to February 7, a 30-member delegation from Washington State, led by Greater Seattle Partners and Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, will visit India. The group includes senior leaders from Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, the Port of Seattle, and local city administrations, reflecting the scale of collaboration in trade, technology, and investment.
Highlighting India’s healthcare potential, Providence CEO Eric Wexler discussed their recently inaugurated Global Capability Center in Hyderabad, which will create over 2,000 jobs while leveraging India’s talent pool for AI-driven healthcare solutions. ZOHO also demonstrated locally developed AI models supporting India’s push for digital self-reliance and data sovereignty.
The forum reinforced the Consulate’s broader agenda of promoting the “3Ts” – Trade, Tourism, and Technology – while facilitating direct business linkages and exports to the US Pacific Northwest. Officials emphasized that initiatives like this will continue to serve as platforms for strengthening India-US commercial and technological partnerships.
