The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the rescheduling of the NTPC Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for eligible candidates. As per the latest notification, the revised examination date is February 11, bringing relief and clarity to aspirants awaiting an updated schedule.
The rescheduling applies specifically to candidates who appeared for the CBTST held on December 28, 2025, and had opted for re-scheduling. The board confirmed that the revised test date has been finalized after reviewing requests from affected candidates.
The CBT Skill Test evaluates candidates’ typing proficiency in English and Hindi. English typing is mandatory for all candidates, while Hindi typing requires familiarity with Krutidev and Mangal fonts. Candidates are advised to practice using the prescribed standards to avoid disqualification.

RRB further informed that the Exam City and Date intimation link, along with the Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates, will be activated 10 days prior to the examination on the official RRB websites. This facility will help candidates plan their travel in advance.
The E-Call Letters for the CBTST will be available for download four days before the exam date, as mentioned in the exam city intimation. Candidates must download and print the admit card to appear for the test.
Finally, the Railway Recruitment Board has strongly advised candidates to rely only on official RRB websites for updates related to the NTPC recruitment process and avoid misinformation from unofficial or unauthenticated sources.
