A passenger caused a major security scare at Chennai International Airport after allegedly jumping out of an Air Arabia aircraft while it was taxiing after landing. The incident took place shortly after the flight arrived from an international destination and was moving on the runway toward its designated parking bay.

According to preliminary reports from airport officials, the passenger unexpectedly opened an aircraft exit while the plane was still in motion during taxiing and jumped onto the runway. The act triggered immediate alarm among the cabin crew and ground control authorities, who quickly alerted airport security and halted further movement of the aircraft.

The flight, operated by Air Arabia, had completed its landing procedure normally before the disruption occurred. Taxiing is a standard post-landing phase where aircraft move slowly on designated airport pathways before reaching the terminal. Officials said the sudden breach of protocol created a potentially dangerous situation on the active runway.
