The Odisha Higher Education Department has launched the undergraduate admission process for the 2026–27 academic session under the Student Academic Management System (SAMS). The online Common Application Form (CAF) submission process for admission into all (+3) degree Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), including self-financing colleges and Sanskrit (Shastri) institutions, will begin on May 27 at 4 pm. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official SAMS Odisha portal.
According to the admission schedule released by the department, students will be able to complete and submit their online applications until June 10 at 11:45 pm. Authorities have advised applicants to carefully read the Common Prospectus before filling out the form to avoid mistakes during the admission process. The department also stated that candidates will have the option to edit or modify their CAF details until the final submission deadline.
The first round provisional seat allotment list is scheduled to be published on June 17. Following the announcement of allotments, selected students will be required to complete admission-related formalities within the timelines specified by the department. The SAMS platform has been designed to streamline admissions into undergraduate programs across Odisha by centralizing the application, merit list, and seat allotment process through a single digital portal.
