Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin on Tuesday expressed confidence that party candidate Neeraj Sinha would achieve a strong victory in the upcoming Bankipur by-election. Nabin, who represented the constituency for five consecutive terms, said Sinha would continue the development work and public service legacy established in the area.

Addressing the media after completing a day-long visit to the constituency, Nabin spoke about his long association with the people of Bankipur. He said the constituency has always held emotional and personal importance for him and expressed confidence that Sinha, who comes from the party’s organisational ranks, would work with dedication for the people.

Nabin said it was his responsibility as a party worker, former MLA and representative of Bankipur to remain connected with voters during the election period. He praised the BJP leadership for giving an opportunity to a grassroots worker, describing Sinha as someone who would serve the people like a family member and work for the welfare of the constituency.

Highlighting development achievements in Bankipur, Nabin said significant progress had been made in areas such as roads, water supply, electricity, parks and community facilities. He also mentioned that the Patna Municipal Corporation had initiated Bihar’s first solid waste management project in the area, which would further improve cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Supporting Sinha’s candidature, Nabin appealed to the people of Bankipur to extend the same trust and support to the BJP candidate that they had shown towards him in previous elections. He said the constituency could become a model of comprehensive development in Bihar and expressed confidence that Sinha would work towards achieving that goal. Nabin also assured that Bankipur would remain a priority for him even after becoming a Rajya Sabha member. He said his new role would not weaken his connection with the constituency and that he would continue supporting development initiatives and remaining involved in efforts for the area’s progress.
