The University of Mumbai has extended the registration deadline for undergraduate, postgraduate and Four-Year Undergraduate Degree programmes for the 2026 admission cycle. Eligible candidates can now submit their online applications until July 15, 2026, giving additional time to students who have not yet completed the registration and admission process.
Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes must complete their applications through the university’s designated UG and PG admission portal. Those applying for Four-Year Undergraduate Degree programmes are required to use the separate admission portal specified by the university. Applicants have been advised to ensure that they select the correct platform for their chosen programme.
The admission process requires candidates to register online using the required personal and academic details before logging in with their credentials. Applicants must then complete the application form, upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format and pay the applicable fee, wherever required. The submitted information should be carefully reviewed before the final application is confirmed.

Candidates have also been advised to verify that all documents uploaded during the application process meet the specifications prescribed by the university. Incorrect information, incomplete forms or improperly uploaded documents may create difficulties during later stages of admission. Applicants should download and retain the confirmation page after successfully submitting the application for future reference.
All admission-related formalities, including online registration, completion of the application form, document submission and payment of the applicable fee, must be completed on or before July 15. The revised schedule is intended to provide additional time for candidates who were unable to finish the process under the earlier deadline.
The university has advised applicants not to wait until the final day to submit their forms, as increased traffic on the admission portals could result in technical delays. Candidates should complete the process well before the deadline and regularly check official university updates for further information regarding merit lists, document verification and subsequent stages of the 2026 admission process.
