The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced that its founder Abhijeet Dipke and party members will join students protesting over alleged paper leaks in various online examinations conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). The announcement was made on Sunday, September 13, as the agitation intensified over demands for accountability from senior officials associated with the commission.

The CJP said the decision followed a meeting between Mr. Dipke and a group of MPSC aspirants at his residence in the Waluj area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The students reportedly discussed their concerns regarding alleged irregularities in online examinations and sought support for their campaign demanding action against those responsible for the reported leaks.

According to a statement released by the party, the agitation seeking the resignation of the MPSC chairman and secretary would be taken forward with the participation of CJP members. The party said it intended to stand with the protesting aspirants and support their demand for greater accountability in the conduct of competitive examinations.

The CJP further stated that if the resignation demand was not accepted by September 24, Mr. Dipke would undertake a statewide tour to interact with MPSC aspirants. The proposed tour is intended to gather support from students across Maharashtra and bring wider attention to their grievances concerning the examination process.

The allegations of paper leaks have caused concern among candidates preparing for government recruitment examinations, for whom the integrity and confidentiality of question papers are critical. Aspirants have been demanding transparency and corrective action, arguing that any compromise in the examination system can affect the prospects of thousands of candidates competing for limited government positions.

The CJP’s announcement adds a political dimension to the ongoing student agitation, with the party promising to participate directly in the protests and expand the campaign if its demands are not met. The issue is expected to remain a focus of attention among MPSC aspirants in the coming days as the September 24 deadline approaches.
