Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav began his four-day visit to Dubai with discussions aimed at strengthening economic engagement and investment ties between Madhya Pradesh and the United Arab Emirates. He met Indian Ambassador to the UAE Deepak Mittal and Consul General of India in Dubai and Northern Emirates E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy on Sunday, focusing on opportunities to expand business linkages between the state and the UAE.
Yadav sought the support of the Indian Mission in connecting Madhya Pradesh with UAE sovereign wealth funds, leading corporate groups, business organisations and institutional investors. The effort is aimed at attracting greater investment to the state and creating stronger channels for engagement with potential investors ahead of the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2027.
The Chief Minister also invited the Indian Ambassador and Consul General to participate in GIS 2027, which Madhya Pradesh is preparing to host as a platform to showcase investment opportunities in the state. Yadav highlighted the need for discussions with investors to focus on mutual opportunities and benefits, positioning the engagement as a two-way dialogue.

Yadav highlighted investment opportunities across several sectors, including mining, heavy industry, micro, small and medium enterprises, hospitality, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, textiles, logistics, advanced manufacturing and urban infrastructure. He also pointed to the development of a Science City in Madhya Pradesh as an area with potential for innovation, technology and investment.
During the Dubai visit, Yadav also met Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi and other members, inviting them to participate in GIS 2027. Discussions additionally covered food processing and agriculture, with a focus on strengthening value chains and developing infrastructure for processing, storage, transportation and exports.
The visit is part of Madhya Pradesh’s efforts to expand engagement with international investors and institutions ahead of GIS 2027. The state is seeking to leverage its industrial and agricultural strengths while improving logistics, cold chain infrastructure and export capabilities to build longer-term economic partnerships with the UAE and other international markets.
