The Yadav family imploded into public view after RJD’s humiliating Bihar election defeat, with Lalu Prasad Yadav’s eldest active daughter Rohini Acharya unleashing a series of devastating posts on X accusing younger brother and former deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav of hurling a slipper at her, showering her with filthy abuses, and viciously mocking the kidney she donated to their father in Singapore in 2022. The explosive confrontation erupted at the family’s 10 Circular Road residence in Patna on Saturday, just 24 hours after RJD was reduced to a historic low of 25 seats.

In heart-wrenching detail, Rohini revealed Tejashwi screamed, “Tumhare karan hum chunaav haar gaye” (We lost because of you) and “Tumhara haay lag gaya” (Your curse ruined us), before allegedly throwing a slipper and branding her “filthy”. Dismissing the scandal as “an internal family matter that will be resolved within the family,” the RJD supremo asserted, “I am there to deal with it.” Despite the chaos, Tejashwi was unanimously elected leader of the legislature party, with Lalu publicly praising his “hard work” during the campaign and insisting only Tejashwi could lead RJD forward.
