Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was admitted to Fortis Hospital Mohali on Sunday after reportedly experiencing a sudden health issue. According to sources, the Chief Minister felt unwell while in Dhuri, prompting immediate medical attention. He was taken to the hospital at approximately 3:20 pm for evaluation and treatment.
Earlier in the day, Mann had travelled to Sangrur to participate in Mahashivratri celebrations. He was accompanied by Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal during the religious event. Following the programme, he was scheduled to proceed towards Chandigarh as part of his official engagements.
However, while in Dhuri, Mann reportedly experienced a sudden rise in blood pressure. Given the nature of the symptoms, his security and medical teams decided against continuing with the planned itinerary. Instead of proceeding with his travel schedule, arrangements were made to shift him directly to Fortis Hospital in Mohali.

Party leaders and officials have expressed concern while assuring the public that Mann is receiving appropriate medical care. Further updates on his health are expected following medical assessment.
