In an unusual public message, Mossad expressed support for the Iranian people amid ongoing US-Israeli airstrikes on Tehran, urging citizens to “take care of yourselves” while pledging to “return Iran to its glory days.” The statement, shared on Mossad’s official social media channels in Persian and Hebrew, coincides with joint military strikes conducted by Israel and United States on strategic locations across the Iranian capital on Saturday morning.
According to reports by N12 News and the Jerusalem Post, the agency also launched a Farsi-language Telegram channel for Iranians to follow updates related to the strikes. The agency addressed the Iranian people directly, calling them “our Iranian brothers and sisters” and emphasizing that “you are not alone.”
Mossad encouraged citizens to document and share images or videos of what it described as their “just struggle against” the regime of Supreme Leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei. The agency stressed that the most important priority for Iranians is to “take care of themselves” during the unfolding crisis.

The message comes as Tehran continues to experience explosions and unrest linked to the preemptive military action. Israel and the United States confirmed their strikes, which reportedly targeted locations associated with Iran’s security and military infrastructure, including sites near the offices of Khamenei.
This public communication from Mossad marks a rare instance of the intelligence service openly addressing civilians in a foreign country, highlighting the intersection of military operations, intelligence strategy, and psychological outreach. Authorities in Iran have yet to comment on the message, and the impact on public sentiment or security dynamics remains uncertain.
Analysts suggest that the Telegram channel and social media outreach are part of a broader campaign to influence internal opposition within Iran, coinciding with US and Israeli military pressure, and potentially shaping perceptions of the ongoing conflict on both domestic and international fronts.
