Dramatic scenes unfolded across the Gulf region after Iran launched a missile and drone offensive targeting United States military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain. Footage from Kuwait captured a ballistic missile exploding mid-air in a massive fireball, with debris visible falling across the sky. Additional videos showed interceptor missiles streaking upward from defense systems as loud blasts echoed across parts of Kuwait and Bahrain. Authorities in Bahrain issued public safety alerts, urging residents to remain calm and move to secure locations.
The attacks came amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran following recent US military operations targeting Iranian radar and drone facilities. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for the strikes, describing them as retaliation against what it called American aggression in the region.

Despite the dramatic visuals, the US Central Command said all Iranian attacks were unsuccessful. According to CENTCOM, two missiles fired toward Kuwait failed before reaching their targets, while three missiles directed at Bahrain were intercepted by US and Bahraini air defense systems. No American casualties or damage to military installations was reported.
The latest exchange marks another sharp escalation in the ongoing regional conflict, raising concerns about stability in the Gulf and the security of key maritime routes.
