The Indian Navy has opened the online application process for recruitment to the Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer entries for the June 2027 course. Eligible unmarried men and women can submit their applications through the official recruitment portal from June 25, 2026, with the registration window remaining open until July 27, 2026. Candidates selected through the recruitment process will undergo training at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala, before being commissioned as officers in the Indian Navy.
The recruitment notification includes vacancies across multiple branches and specialisations, offering opportunities for candidates from diverse educational backgrounds. The available entries span the Executive, Technical and Education cadres, reflecting the Navy's requirement for skilled officers across operational, engineering and academic roles. Vacancies have also been announced in the Education Branch, Engineering Branch (GS), Electrical Branch (GS), Submarine Technical (Engineering and Electrical) and Naval Constructor entries. Each branch has separate eligibility conditions and selection requirements based on the nature of the role.
