Several flashpoints occurred during the post-match scenes. Argentina midfielder Leandro Paredes became involved in physical confrontations with Spain players Eric Garcia and Gavi, while Spain captain Rodri was reportedly struck in the stomach as he ran past Argentina defender Nahuel Molina.
