The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a detailed advisory ahead of singer AP Dhillon’s concert at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on 7 December 2025, expecting large crowds. Scheduled from 6 pm to 10 pm, the event is expected to attract thousands of fans, prompting authorities to implement special traffic restrictions, parking regulations, and entry procedures to ensure smooth movement around the venue.
Traffic restrictions will be enforced on key roads surrounding the stadium to manage congestion. These include IP Marg (Mahatma Gandhi Marg), Vikas Marg, and a stretch of Ring Road from Rajghat to IP Depot. Heavy vehicles will be prohibited on these routes from Rajghat to IP Marg during the event, and the public is advised to avoid these areas between 3 pm and 11 pm to reduce traffic snarls.
To streamline entry, visitors are required to use designated gates corresponding to their routes. Gates 7 and 8 are accessible via Velodrome Road, while Gates 21, 22, and 23, as well as Gates 16 and 18 on Ring Road, will open via MGM Road. Authorities emphasized that adhering to the gate assignments will help manage crowd movement efficiently and avoid chaos at entry points.

Parking near the stadium will be strictly regulated, with spaces available only for vehicles with official parking labels. Displaying the label on the windscreen is mandatory, and the vehicle number must be clearly written on it. Vehicles without valid labels will not be permitted to park near the venue, and label holders are instructed to approach via Ring Road and enter parking lots from MGM Road.
Officials highlighted that limited parking is available and urged attendees to use public transport or carpool where possible to avoid congestion. The measures aim to ensure a safe and orderly experience for concertgoers while minimizing disruptions for local residents and commuters.
The Delhi Traffic Police also cautioned that violations of traffic or parking rules may result in fines or towing. Authorities assured that additional personnel will be deployed on-site to assist with traffic management, crowd control, and emergency response, reflecting the city’s proactive approach to managing large-scale entertainment events.
