Investigating agencies have uncovered damning CCTV evidence linking the white Hyundai i20 involved in the Red Fort explosion to Al Falah University in Faridabad. The vehicle, driven by Umar Mohammad alias Umar Nabi during the Monday blast that claimed 13 lives and injured 20, entered the university's main gate on October 29. It departed the campus at 2:41 p.m. the following day, thrusting the institution into the spotlight of a sprawling multi-agency probe.
The blast's ferocity shattered nearby vehicles and ignited pandemonium in the parking lot, mere hours after authorities dismantled a sophisticated "white collar" terror network tied to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. Operations spanned Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, yielding 2,900 kg of explosives and eight arrests, including three doctors. Umar Mohammad, born in Pulwama in 1989 and employed as a doctor at Al Falah, emerges as a central figure, with 360 kg of ammonium nitrate seized from the university premises.
Further arrests of former university doctors Muzammil Ganaie and Shaheen Sayeed intensify scrutiny on the institution's alleged role in radical activities. Sources confirm Mohammad maintained direct contact with Ganaie, fueling suspicions of a coordinated plot. The probe now dissects the university's operations, where regulatory lapses have already drawn fire from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

In response to documented "major irregularities," the Crime Branch filed two FIRs against Al Falah University on charges of cheating and forgery. A police contingent raided the university's Okhla office on Saturday, extracting records on personnel under investigation. These violations encompass accreditation failures and operational discrepancies, compounding the terror-related inquiries.
Authorities meticulously reconstruct the prelude to the Red Fort detonation, cataloging every vehicle that accessed the blast site parking area over three critical hours. This forensic timeline aims to unmask accomplices and trace the i20's shadowy path. As the death toll stands at 13, the investigation presses forward, vowing to dismantle entrenched networks exploiting educational facades for nefarious ends.
