The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has launched an innovative service allowing individuals, event organizers, and media companies to book Namo Bharat trains and stations for private occasions such as birthday celebrations and pre-wedding shoots. Under the new policy, both moving and stationary coaches can be reserved, offering a distinctive and visually appealing setting for memorable events.
Bookings start at Rs 5,000 per hour and include time for setup and removal of decorations or equipment. A mock-up coach located at the Duhai Depot is also available for static photo or video shoots. The facilities can be personalized with simple decorations, subject to NCRTC’s guidelines to ensure that celebrations neither disrupt train operations nor inconvenience regular commuters. All events will occur under the strict supervision of NCRTC staff and security personnel to maintain safety and compliance.
Key stations such as Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, and Meerut South serve as ideal locations for residents across the Delhi-Meerut corridor to host their occasions in these modern, internationally designed coaches. The initiative is expected to attract a diverse group eager for a fresh and unique experience to mark special milestones close to home.

In addition to private events, NCRTC has formulated a comprehensive premises hiring policy that allows filmmakers, advertisers, and documentary producers to use Namo Bharat trains and stations for shootings at competitive rates. This aligns with NCRTC’s broader strategy to maximize utility and visibility of the transport infrastructure.
By opening its state-of-the-art trains and stations for private bookings, NCRTC is redefining event spaces in the region, offering a blend of convenience, novelty, and modernity that complements the growing urban lifestyle on Delhi’s outskirts and its neighbour cities.
