The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 12 supplementary result 2026 soon, with students awaiting their revised scorecards following the examination held on July 28. The supplementary examination was conducted for eligible compartment and improvement candidates. Once declared, students will be able to access their results through the board's official result portals and other authorised digital platforms. The CBSE has not indicated a specific result time in the information provided, so candidates are advised to rely on official updates rather than unverified claims.

Students should keep their essential login credentials ready before checking their scorecards. The details required may include the candidate's roll number, school number, date of birth and admit card ID. The results are expected to be hosted on CBSE's official websites, including cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. Students can also check their digital academic records through DigiLocker, while the board has said that result-related services are supported through platforms including UMANG and DigiResults.

The revised Class 12 marksheet will contain important academic information for candidates. It is expected to show the total marks obtained in individual subjects, theory marks, practical, project or internal assessment marks, additional subject details and subject-wise positional grades. The document will also indicate the candidate's qualifying status. Students who appeared for the examination to improve their performance will be able to check their revised marks once the supplementary result is released.

The supplementary examination was open to several categories of Class 12 candidates. Students who appeared in the 2026 board examination and were placed in the Compartment category were eligible for the first chance. Candidates who had passed the main examination but sought improvement in one subject were also eligible. Students from the 2025 examination cycle appearing for a third compartment chance were permitted to take the supplementary examination as private candidates, according to the information released by the board.

The CBSE had declared the main Class 12 examination results on May 13, 2026, for approximately 17.69 lakh candidates. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 85.20 per cent, while the Trivandrum region reported the highest pass percentage at 95.62 per cent. Following the main results, students were provided facilities to obtain scanned copies of evaluated answer books and apply for verification and re-evaluation within specified dates. The supplementary examination provided another opportunity for eligible students to improve their academic outcome or clear compartment subjects.

After the supplementary result is declared, students should download and preserve a copy of their marksheet for admission and other academic requirements. Digital academic documents, including marksheets, migration certificates and pass certificates, are also made available through CBSE's Parinam Manjusha repository integrated with DigiLocker. Candidates are advised to use only official CBSE channels when checking their results and avoid relying on unofficial websites or social media claims. Students should also keep their examination credentials available so they can access their scorecards promptly when the result link becomes active.
