Dramatic video footage circulating online shows a missile striking near a residential area in the Qatari capital after Iran reportedly launched projectiles toward the Gulf nation on Saturday. The incident occurred in Barwa City, where residents were seen scrambling for safety as the missile descended and exploded.
In the widely shared clip — which has not been independently verified — a man, believed to be from the Indian subcontinent, can be heard warning bystanders to move away, shouting, “Side pe ho jao, bhaago” as people run in panic. Moments later, the projectile hits the ground nearby, triggering a loud blast and sending flames and thick black smoke into the air.
Qatar, which hosts the region’s largest US military installation at Al Udeid Air Base, was among locations reportedly targeted during the latest escalation involving Iran. There were no immediate official details on casualties or damage in the Barwa City area at the time of reporting.
