The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has officially declared the Assam HSLC Class 10 Result 2026, bringing an end to weeks of anticipation for students across the state. The results were announced on April 10 at 10:30 am, revealing an overall pass percentage of 65.62 per cent for this year’s examination cycle. The announcement marks a significant academic milestone for thousands of students who appeared for the High School Leaving Certificate examination.
This year, a total of 4,38,565 candidates had registered for the Assam HSLC 2026 examinations, which were conducted between February 10 and February 27 in various centres across the state. The examinations are considered one of the most important academic assessments in Assam, as they determine students’ eligibility for admission into higher secondary education in science, commerce, and arts streams.
Following the declaration of results, students can now access their scorecards through multiple official platforms. The primary website for checking results is sebaonline.org where candidates are required to enter their roll number and other necessary credentials. Once submitted, the digital marksheet appears on the screen, allowing students to download and save it for future reference. Due to heavy traffic on result day, alternative access points have also been activated to ensure smooth availability.

In addition to the official website, the board has also enabled result access through various government portals and partner platforms. These additional channels are designed to reduce server load and ensure that students can quickly view their results without delays, especially during peak traffic hours immediately after the announcement.
The board has also provided SMS-based result checking facilities for students who may have limited internet access. By sending their roll number in the prescribed format to designated numbers, candidates can receive their results directly on their mobile phones. This multi-platform approach ensures wider accessibility, particularly for students in remote and rural areas where internet connectivity may be inconsistent.
The Assam HSLC examination plays a crucial role in shaping academic pathways, as performance in Class 10 determines eligibility for various streams and institutions at the higher secondary level. With the 2026 results now declared, schools across Assam are expected to begin admission procedures shortly, guiding students into their next phase of academic progression.
Education authorities are also expected to release detailed statistics, including district-wise performance, topper lists, and pass percentages by category in the coming days. These insights will provide a clearer picture of overall academic trends and help evaluate performance improvements compared to previous years.
