The 9th Adani Ahmedabad Marathon drew a record 24,000 runners to Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park, themed #Run4OurSoldiers to honor India's Armed Forces amid Operation Sindoor. Flagged off by Pranav Adani, Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, Major General Gaurav Bagga, Mandira Bedi, Olympic medalist Gagan Narang, Preeti Jhangiani, designer Aaquib Wani, and Gujarat Giants cricketer Yastika Bhatia, the event featured Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K categories along iconic routes including Gandhi Ashram, Atal Bridge, and Ellis Bridge.
Over 4,000 military personnel and police officers joined civilians, reinforcing national solidarity. The official jersey, designed by Aaquib Wani, captured the tribute spirit. Certified by Athletics Federation of India and listed on AIMS Global Marathon Event List for course accuracy, the marathon offered Rs 40 lakh+ prizes across open, age-group, and defense categories.
Pranav Adani highlighted the event's growth since 2017 into a city-owned movement. Major General Gaurav Bagga called the joint participation heartening, while Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor praised the enthusiastic crowd supporting forces. Adani Sportsline thanked Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, police, traffic units, 108 Emergency Services, and KD Hospital for seamless coordination.

Top performers included Full Marathon men's winner Nikhil Singh (2:22:49) and women's Ashvini Jadhav (2:56:49); Half Marathon men's Dharmender (1:31:31) and women's Farheen Firdose (1:03:48); 10K men's Rajan Yadav (0:30:05) and women's Neeta Rani (0:35:15). Defense category highlights: Full Marathon men's Mohit Kumar Sharma (2:27:14), women's Pooja (3:10:16).
This edition underscores Adani Sportsline's commitment to mass participation and India's sporting culture, building on post-COVID growth from 8,000 to 20,000+ runners annually.
