Hollywood icon Will Smith once again expressed his admiration for Bollywood, sharing his desire to collaborate with the industry’s biggest stars during a media interaction in Dubai ahead of the Middle East premiere of his upcoming series Pole to Pole with Will Smith. The actor emphasized his long-standing love for Hindi cinema and his hope of eventually appearing in a Bollywood film.
Speaking to Gulf News, Will Smith specifically addressed Shah Rukh Khan, calling him a “towering presence” in Hindi cinema and directly requesting a role. “I want Shah Rukh to put me in something, Shah Rukh, what’s up?” he said, sparking excitement among fans about the potential of a future collaboration with the King of Bollywood.
Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy filming King, directed by Siddharth Anand, alongside Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, and other stars. While no official project has been confirmed, Smith’s remarks have fueled speculation that he could soon make his Hindi film debut.

Will Smith also revealed past attempts to work with other Bollywood legends, including Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. “I was talking to Salman. We had things we were discussing. I was trying to get into something with Big B… but nothing panned out,” he said, explaining that while there was mutual interest, the collaborations never materialized.
Beyond his Bollywood aspirations, Will Smith is preparing for the release of his National Geographic series Pole to Pole with Will Smith, documenting his high-adrenaline journey tackling extreme physical challenges across the world over 100 days. The series is scheduled to premiere on January 13.
