Actor Vijay Varma has spoken out about the growing level of online speculation and misinformation surrounding him following his reported breakup with actor Tamannaah Bhatia, criticising what he described as “too many lies” and increasingly personal online commentary.
In recent comments, Vijay reflected on how public discourse around celebrities has changed in the digital age. He said that online communication has become more direct and excessive, adding that social media users often post comments that are personal in nature and sometimes based on fabricated or misleading information. He noted that this shift has made it difficult for public figures to separate their professional work from personal narratives being discussed online.
The actor, who began dating Tamannaah in 2023, was reportedly in a relationship for around two years before the two parted ways, although neither of them has officially confirmed the breakup. Media speculation around their relationship has continued, contributing to ongoing public attention and online discussions.

Vijay also spoke about stepping back from the public eye in recent times, saying he needed a period of reduced visibility. He explained that despite not giving interviews for a long time, public attention on him did not decrease, reflecting what he described as an uncontrollable nature of celebrity scrutiny in the current media environment.
Earlier, in a separate interview, he had also discussed the lack of “silence” in modern celebrity life, stating that constant scrutiny and commentary make it difficult for public figures to maintain privacy. He added that while he had hoped for more personal space, it is increasingly difficult to achieve in the present social media-driven landscape.
On the professional front, Vijay is preparing for upcoming projects including Matka King on OTT and Family Business alongside veteran actor Anil Kapoor. His most recent theatrical release was Gustaakh Ishq in 2025, as he continues to remain active in both streaming and film platforms despite ongoing public attention surrounding his personal life.
