Vijay Deverakonda has extended his support to Rashmika Mandanna ahead of the release of her upcoming action thriller Mysaa, reacting to the film’s recently unveiled poster. The actor praised Rashmika’s intense new avatar and expressed confidence that the film would make her fans proud. Mysaa is scheduled to reach theatres worldwide on November 27, 2026.

Reacting to the poster on Instagram Stories, Vijay described Rashmika’s character as a “violent pilla” and wished her well for the film. His message praised her performance and expressed hope that audiences would appreciate her work. Rashmika subsequently shared Vijay’s post and thanked him, adding that his guidance on landing punches had helped her prepare for the action sequences.

The poster presents Rashmika in a fierce avatar, holding a blood-stained spear and hinting at the action-heavy world of the film. Mysaa marks a significant departure from several of Rashmika’s recent roles, with the actor portraying a young woman from the Gond tribal community. The film is also positioned as one of her major solo action-oriented projects.

Directed by Rawindra Pulle and produced by Unformula Films, Mysaa is expected to combine action, emotion and drama. Rashmika had earlier described the film through themes of rage, pain, grief, courage and power while announcing its theatrical release date. The makers have positioned the project as an intense story centred on a strong female protagonist.

The film has also generated interest because of Vijay and Rashmika’s continued association in the industry. The two actors are set to share screen space again in their upcoming project Ranabaali. Vijay’s latest public support for Mysaa has added further attention to Rashmika’s new action-focused role ahead of the film’s November release.

Rashmika was last seen in Cocktail 2 alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Vijay, meanwhile, has built a filmography that includes Geetha Govindam, Mahanati and Dear Comrade, among other projects. With Mysaa, Rashmika is set to take on a markedly different screen persona as the film heads towards its worldwide theatrical release.
