Actor Vicky Kaushal has added his voice to the wave of praise surrounding Dhurandhar, the recently released drama directed by Aditya Dhar. The film, which hit theatres on December 5, has already sparked significant conversation in Bollywood for its scale, performances, and storytelling style. Vicky took to Instagram Stories to express his admiration, calling the film a “beauty” and applauding the director’s ambition.
In his post, Vicky highlighted the “mammoth task” undertaken by Aditya Dhar and his team in bringing the project to life with conviction and finesse. He acknowledged the depth of the film’s world-building and commended the technical brilliance behind its execution. The actor’s enthusiastic endorsement adds to the growing momentum around the film’s critical reception.
Vicky further praised the ensemble cast, describing their performances as “absolute peak.” He emphasized that the film remained “supremely engaging” throughout, noting that every department—from acting to production design—had delivered at the highest level. His shout-out to “all the Dhurandhars involved” underscored the collaborative effort behind the film’s impact.

Earlier, Hrithik Roshan had also turned to social media to share his admiration for Dhurandhar, offering an emotionally charged reflection on the movie’s artistic depth. Hrithik stated that the film reminded him why he fell in love with cinema, celebrating its willingness to immerse both creators and viewers into a powerful narrative vortex. His comments portrayed the film as a work that pushes boundaries and evokes introspection.
Hrithik did, however, note that he differed from the film’s political messaging, acknowledging that filmmakers hold significant responsibilities as storytellers. Yet he maintained that the cinematic experience and the learning it offered outweighed any disagreements. His balanced review added a thoughtful layer to the ongoing discussions about the film’s themes and execution.
