Hollywood actor Simone Ashley expressed excitement about reuniting with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and other L'Oréal Paris ambassadors during Paris Fashion Week. The two actors, who are among the brand's global ambassadors, shared warm moments backstage at L'Oréal Paris' Le Défilé 2026. Simone, who walked for the brand for the third time, spoke about the opportunity to meet fellow ambassadors during the event.

Speaking to Variety India, Simone said she particularly enjoys the moments shared backstage with the other ambassadors. She noted that they do not get much time to spend together during the rest of the year, making their reunions in Paris a special opportunity to catch up. Simone added that this was her third year walking for L'Oréal Paris and said she was excited about taking part in the event again.

Simone also reflected on what her work and opportunities mean to her as an artiste. She said she feels privileged to express her creativity while working with a variety of creatives whom she admires. The actor added that she takes pride in projects and opportunities that carry a positive message, describing the experience of collaborating with different creative professionals as meaningful.

Simone is widely known for playing Kate Sharma in the Netflix series Bridgerton, which brought her international recognition. Before that, she appeared as Olivia Hanan in Sex Education. Her film credits include The Little Mermaid and Picture This, while she also appears in The Devil Wears Prada 2 as Amari, an assistant to Meryl Streep's Miranda Priestly. The sequel also features Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci.

Aishwarya and Simone also shared several warm moments during the Paris event, including greeting each other, holding hands and posing together backstage. The two were later seen together during the final walk at the show. Their interaction attracted attention on social media, with several behind-the-scenes moments from the event circulating online.

Aishwarya's recent international appearances have continued despite her last theatrical release being Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: II in 2023, in which she played dual roles including Nandini. She attended the Cannes Film Festival in 2025 and later appeared at Paris Fashion Week in 2026 for L'Oréal Paris' Le Défilé. For the Paris appearance, she closed the show in a dramatic black couture look and debuted a burgundy-red hair colour.
